In this episode of On the Health Record, we spoke with Frances Glosson, a healthcare veteran whose career spans from nursing assistant all the way to hospital administrator. She also happens to be Oleg's aunt!
We've been looking forward to this episode for a long time. Aunt Franny has a unique understanding of what it takes to make a hospital function efficiently. We discuss her experience in optimizing operations at the hospitals she’s worked with, and she shares some insight into the ways that leadership styles have changed over the years.
Frances also enlightened us on Personality Trait Theory, a topic which she’s written a dissertation on, and how understanding human dynamics can translate into more effective systems in workplace settings. We even touch on the changes in EHRs over the years along the way!
Talking to Aunt Franny was a lot of fun, and we're excited for you all to hear what she’s learned over the course of her long career in healthcare.

This episode of On the Health Record features Eron Villareal, the founder of Yuzu Labs and a former DrChrono developer.
In this episode, we discuss Eron’s experience as one of the first developers to work on DrChrono after Daniel and Michael. He spins some classic startup stories of long work days that regularly bled into nights, all to build a platform powered by passion and Red Bull. He breaks down some early DrChrono milestones achieved during his time there as well.
Since leaving DrChrono, Eron has worked on his own startup, Yuzu Labs, to create a research platform called Steady Pages. They’re working on some really interesting projects in the medical research space right now, so stay tuned for more on that.
Eron was a great guest for this episode, and we had a lot of fun reminiscing about his time at DrChrono and learning about what he’s doing now to better the healthcare industry.
